Eight ways to read Acaryapedia

Each direction is a different way into the library, with its own look. All eight show the same real text, Upadeśāmṛta, text 1, by Śrīla Rūpa Gosvāmī, so the comparison is fair. Variant 1 is the first prototype of 23 September 2026 (Bhakti-rasāmṛta-sindhu 1.1.11, a verse page only). Today's working version is the last panel, for reference.

Open the pages, then pick your first, second and third choice and add a note. Pitambara and Mahendra Prabhu choose three finalists; the direction is then decided together with Visnu Murti Prabhu and Kasya Prabhu.

About these prototypes

They use only the free layers: the Sanskrit and Bengali originals, the IAST transliteration and the Bengali commentaries of the 1942 Gauḍīya Maṭha edition. Śrīla Prabhupāda's translation and purport appear only as a link to Vanisource until there is permission from the BBT. English commentaries still waiting for permission are shown as marked placeholders.
Every page was checked on a phone width of 375 pixels and a computer width of 1280: nothing runs off the screen, every verse page stays under 300 KB, and the text and layers can be read without JavaScript.
They were checked in Chromium only, not yet in Safari, Firefox or on a real phone.
Links to other authors and works lead nowhere yet. Some details are proposals that need the editorial team, for example the order of the stations in direction 6 and the lessons that come after Upadeśāmṛta in direction 9.
